Goods-in inspection
Checking what arrives before the supplier's certificate is the only evidence available.
ALLOY IDENTIFICATION
Two stainless bars look alike. Their grades are not equivalent, and the difference only shows once the part is in service. A portable analyser reads the composition on the part itself, at goods-in as at the machine.
The price of an inspection compares poorly with the price of a part. It compares with the cost of rework, of downtime and of a recalled batch. That is what systematic checking is for: it moves the spend from an unlikely, expensive incident to an everyday, cheap gesture.
X-ray fluorescence covers the metals — most of what comes through goods-in and the workshop. When two steel grades separate only on carbon, the measurement continues by another route: spark at the station, or the laboratory.
We cover the whole chain, and we tell you from the outset where your need sits.
Tell us the families you handle and the pairs that give you trouble. We will tell you whether X-ray fluorescence separates them, and with which instrument.
