The instrument is built on a dual-detection architecture combined with Peltier cooling, which guarantees optimal stability and highly reproducible measurements.

  • Sealed cadmium-109 (109Cd) source of 40 mCi, i.e. 1,480 MBq
  • Dual detection: combined reading of the K and L lines of lead
  • Solid-state detector, electrically cooled, no liquid nitrogen required
  • Non-destructive analysis directly on the substrate, with no sampling
